Playing computer video game is waste of time .Children should not be allowed to play them

As everyone of us loves to live in high tech world, why children should be legging in it? It's true, but as an adult we know the limitations of the use of the technical devices such as cell phones, computers and so on, children are unaware of it. Therefore, in my opinion, I agree that the playing computer games is waste of time with several explanation as mentioned below.

To begin with, children's study get affected by constantly playing games on computers. Children will play it continuously as they love to play it. Obviously, computer games attracts us also; but for kids, they are not mature enough to understand that their time is being wasted. They cannot focus on their study properly and ultimately their grades get affected. Even if they do their home work, back of the mind they might think of the computer games. so they cannot do their homework efficiently.In this way computer games are waste of time.
Along with study, computer games has an impact on children's health. They continuously seat in front of computer screen that affects their eye sights. we find many children around us with spectacles. Another problem is that they won't get involved in physical games such as soccer, basketball and so on. If they go outside and play, then it will be beneficial for them in developing mental and physical health. They have an opportunity make new people and make new friends which will help them in developing social network also. Therefore staying at home and playing computer game has no such advantages.

Lastly, some computer games leaves negative impression on child's shaping brain. Some computer games are based on crimes, violence and robbery. All these might impact children's mind. So rather than flourishing their brains, computer games might lead children to darkness of the world and stunt their brain growth. Thus, to avoid consequences, children should not allowed to play computer games.

To conclude, I strongly agree that computer games are totally waste of time, so children should not be allowed to play. There are lots of activity such as outdoor games, indoor games, craft activities and so on. They will adapt to new skills. So parents should allow them to flow in such activities rather then allowing them to paly computer games.

Hi, Kattie, I thought this was one of your best essays yet. Your content was really good, with well developed body paragraphs that have a lot of support. Maybe add some personal details about particular kids who you see affected by video games (or make up an imaginary niece or nephew :) } Your writing is pretty clear, butyou do have quite a few errors in verb tense and conjugation, along with some other mistakes in sentence structure that I think might keep you below the 4 level. So I would rate this one a 3.5 out of 5.

As everyone{two words here} of us loves to live in {"a" or "this"} high tech world, why children should be legging in it? {"legging in it" is wrong - what do you mean?} It's{avoid contractions} true, but as an adult we know the limitations of the use of the technical devices such as cell phones, computers and so on, [while] children are unaware of it. Therefore, in my opinion, I agree that playing computer games is [a ]waste of time with several explanation[s ] as mentioned below.{I would leave out this last phrase}

To begin with, children's study get[s ]{"is" seems better here} affected by constantly playing games on computers. Children will play [them] continuously as they love to play [them].{maybe use a synonym for the second "them", like "love to play these addictive apps} Obviously, computer games attrac[t ] us also; but for kids, they are not mature enough to understand that their time is being wasted. They cannot focus on their study properly and ultimately their grades get affected. Even if they do their home work, [in the] back of the mind they might think of the computer games[,] so they cannot do their homework efficiently.In this way computer games are [a ]waste of time.

Along with study, computer games ha[ve] an impact on children's health. They have an opportunity m[eet] new people and make new friends[,] which will help them in developing [their] social network also. [On the other hand,] staying at home and playing computer game has no such advantages.

Lastly, some computer games leav[e a] negative impression on [a ]child's shaping{"growing" seems better here} brain. {or "impression in shaping a child's brain"} Some computer games are based on crimes, violence and robbery. Teenagers today often spend a great deal of time playing video games. These games are fun and engaging and young people often feel like playing games is a great thing to do in their spare time. However, you shouldn’t spend too much time gaming and there are a number of reasons for this: it’s unhealthy, you should spend more time studying, and you need to socialize more.

The primary reason to cut down on gaming time has to be that youths that spend a long time on computers and games consoles are often not getting enough exercise. With high obesity rates, it’s very important for young people to spend as much time being active as possible, especially since studies show that people who are overweight during childhood and adolescence are far more likely to become overweight adults than those of a healthy weight when they’re young. There is just as much, if not more, fun to be had in getting out and about and being active. This doesn’t have to mean going for long runs if that’s not your thing; team sports are both fun and great exercise. Dance or fitness classes are also a good option for those not into sports.

Secondly, getting a good education is that best thing that you can do for your future. If every teenager cut down on their gaming time by 30 minutes per day and used this time to study, the whole of that generation would achieve better results and be more likely to have the career that they want. With education, you get out what you put in, so it’s really up to you to put in the additional effort. If you want to go to a good college, extra study in your own time will be completely vital, but gaming can reduce your concentration span and make this more difficult.

The third main reason that playing video games too often is that it’s no good for your social skills. Some teenagers may argue that because they can now play their games online with friends, they are socializing in their own way. However, you can’t beat face-to-face contact, and if you want to succeed in interviews and build good relationships in later life, you need to develop some proper communication skills. This shouldn’t be a chore, or difficult, because hanging out with friends is far more fun than sitting indoors playing on games all day anyway!

In conclusion, there can be no doubt that spending too much time gaming isn’t good for you. You don’t have to stop all together, but it’s all about moderation. Cut down and allocate your additional free time to doing things that are good for you, and you definitely won’t regret it in later life.
